Elizabeth is a former classroom teacher with a Master’s of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language. Previously licensed in K-12 ESL, Middle Grades Language Arts, and Middle Grades Math, most of Elizabeth’s professional life has involved working with at-risk youth populations in summer camps, after school programs, and then in the ESL classroom. She left the classroom to take care of her 3 babies but her passion for spreading literacy continued, and now that the youngest of those babies is in middle school and the oldest in college, she is ready to get back to teaching! An avid reader herself, Elizabeth believes that reading is the key to the world (both real and imaginary!) and everyone should have access to it.
