Liza

Liza earned her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Utah State University. She loves working with children and teaching others that if you can read, you can become anything. Liza loves to spend her time trying different foods, enjoying the outdoors, reading Science Fiction, and being with her growing family.

Eliza

Eliza has worked for JoyFully Read! for 4 years. She has worked in 3 different centers in Provo and has enjoyed all of them. Eliza is currently working on her last semester to earn her Bachelors degree in English at Utah Valley University. She enjoys getting to know each of her students and helping them find joy and confidence in a task that tends to start out as difficult. In Pre-school JoyFully Read! was the reading program that she used to learn to read herself and she has enjoyed being apart of the  JoyFully Read! team for the past 4 years. Eliza enjoys being outdoors and finding new hobbies that enhance the joy in her life.

Emily

Emily earned her Bachelor’s in English Creative Writing and Editing at UVU. She served an LDS mission in Lubbock, Texas. She loves writing novels, her cat Guy, music, baking, designing some graphics, and reading. Being a tutor at JoyFully Read!™ is such a joy to her because of the amazing children she works with and she believes that books are a gateway to imagination and adventures.

Meagan

Meagan got her bachelor’s degree in family life and human development. She was the head teacher at a Montessori preschool. She has always loved working with children from a young age. Her husband is currently in Residency at UC Davis. Meagan has a 9 month old little boy and has loved becoming a mother.

Whitney

Miss Whitney is a BYU English grad turned sugar wizard, she divides her time between teaching kiddos to read and creating edible masterpieces. Juggling four tiny taste testers while baking up a storm.

Rachael

Rachael is an extrovert who loves finding ways to have fun with the people who matter most to her. She enjoys creative writing, being a Mom, and going down internet rabbit holes about historical clothing.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth is a former classroom teacher with a Master’s of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language.  Previously licensed in K-12 ESL, Middle Grades Language Arts, and Middle Grades Math, most of Elizabeth’s professional life has involved working with at-risk youth populations in summer camps, after school programs, and then in the ESL classroom.  She left the classroom to take care of her 3 babies but her passion for spreading literacy continued, and now that the youngest of those babies is in middle school and the oldest in college, she is ready to get back to teaching!  An avid reader herself, Elizabeth believes that reading is the key to the world (both real and imaginary!) and everyone should have access to it.
